Tom Brady returned to training camp after missing 11 days.

Brady was allowed leave to "handle with personal concerns," according to head coach Todd Bowles.

Bowles said Brady resumed up where he left off and "probably just needed conditioning."

"He's a film fanatic; he's seen everything on video. So he's picking up where he left off and relearning the mechanics.

"His offence and our job are routine. Despite being fresh to the heat and squad, he managed offence well."

"For him to be gone for 11 days, other men stepped up and filled the hole.

"It was strange, Tom normally curses when we mess up, but not this time.

"Tom was probably working out wherever he was. Tom can have 11 days off throughout training camp

Bowles' plan was in place before preseason camp. Brady retracted his retirement announcement in February.

Brady has assisted the Bucs since joining in 2020 from the Patriots.

The perennial underachievers won the Super Bowl in Brady's debut season, giving him his eighth ring.

Many expected a Super Bowl run this year, despite the team's injured talisman.
