In an interview with The Cut, Meghan Markle said she wasn't referring to Prince Harry and Prince Charles.

Meghan: "Harry said, "I lost my dad." That's his decision; it's not mine."

A spokeswoman for Meghan told E! News that she was alluding to her relationship with her estranged father.

"The Prince of Wales loves both his sons," he said if Harry believed their connection was over.

The Duke of Sussex said Charles stopped receiving his calls when he and Meghan stepped down as royals.

When questioned why Charles cut off touch with his son, Harry said, "I intervened."

Nobody is surprised we're here, but I must act for my wife and mental health because I see where this is going.

Harry "will always love" his father despite their differences.

"There's been a lot of hurt," he told Oprah. "I'll keep working to restore that relationship."
