Leaked crossover between Destiny 2 and Fortnite before Bungie event

Bungie may make Destiny 2 Fortnite skins. MidaRado teased a Destiny 2 Fortnite collaboration this weekend.

Ginsor, a Destiny dataminer, confirmed the crossover with an image displaying Fortnite cosmetics in Destiny 2.

The image, perhaps from Bungie's website, depicts Titan armour resembling Fortnite's Black Knight skin.

Destiny's Warlock has a Drift Mask like Fortnite's, and the Hunter looks like Omega.

It's unclear how or when Destiny 2 gamers will get Fortnite skins.

Fortnite skins will likely be universal ornaments in Destiny 2, allowing gamers to personalise characters.

Fortnite might possibly get Destiny skins, and Bungie could deploy many characters in the game.

Destiny 2 has seen crossover content before. Destiny 2 got Halo-like firearms for Bungie's 30th anniversary.

Destiny 2's 30th Anniversary bundle contains a Magnum-like sidearm and a Battle Weapon-like pulse rifle.

This leak comes days before Bungie announces Destiny 2 season 18 and Lightfall.

Tuesday, August 23 at 9AM PT/12PM ET, Bungie will present Destiny 2.

It's the first Destiny 2 show since Sony bought Bungie for $3.7 billion this year.
