Comedian, 'Pause With Sam Jay' actor, 'Messyness' co-host Teddy Ray dies at 32

Teddy Ray, a budding comic talent who appeared on Wild 'n Out, How to Be Broke and Pause With Sam Jay, has died.

Theadore Brown, a comedian, actor, and writer, was discovered dead in Rancho Mirage, California, around 10 a.m. on Friday.

Swan stated that the Gardena resident's death is being looked into by the Riverside County Coroner's Office.

Ray participated in scripted and reality TV series, including Pause With Sam Jay and How to Be Broke.

Ray appeared on Defiant Digital's improv comedic courtroom show Cancel Court last year.

Young comedian performed on Wild 'n Out, Comedy Central's Colossal Clusterfest, and HBO's All Def Comedy.

Ray soared to internet prominence with his "double cheek" meme, a parody of Diane Sawyer's 2017 Caitlyn Jenner interview.

In a tweet, Issa Rae's production company Hoorae called Ray a "longtime creative collaborator and friend."

Author Quinta Brunson said of Ray's final Instagram post, "Heartbroken. Teddy's gone.

All Def, a hip-hop, humour, and social justice media company, expressed "deepest condolences" on social media.

Comedy Central said that the "favourite entertainer" will be "truly missed"
