After a massive crash at the British Grand Prix, Zhou Guanyu and Alex Albon were taken for medical examination.

Due to two massive collisions involving numerous drivers on the pit straight, the British Grand Prix was called off before the end of the first lap, with Zhou Guanyu's Alfa Romeo stuck on the wrong side of the tyre barriers at Turn 1.

As soon as emergency workers arrived, Zhou and Williams driver Alex Albon were rushed to the hospital.

While Zhou was released from the medical center after the race, Albon will be moved to Coventry Hospital for precautionary checks despite the fact that both were examined for significant injuries.

After being rolled by the force of the second contact, Zhou's car barrel-rolled into the run-off area and over the barriers before coming to a rest in front of a grandstand due to the catch fence.

Shortly after the original collision, Albon was engaged in another one when Sebastian Vettel piled into the back of his Williams after Albon slapped the brakes.

While Zhou, Albon, and Russell were immediately eliminated from the race, Tsunoda, Ocon, and Gasly were able to proceed back to the pits.

The race was red-flagged shortly after the collisions as the leaders approached the Wellington Straight, terminating the race.
